| Hi there,
I'm just wondering if I can use EASE Focus 3 to help model a cardioid sub bass using two sub-woofers? Can Focus 3 help model the frequency dependent delays (via all pass filters or other) to achieve optimum cardioid pattern across the sub's operating bandwidth?

Yes, I can see that in Chapter 3.2 the manual talks about setting up your own low frequency arrays. But as the title of the chapter states this is "manual". The user has to set delays etc. And the cardioid patterns in that chapter are just for one frequency where the delay has been set to suit cancellation at just that one frequency.
What I am asking is if Focus 3 can help "optimize" the location and time delays (frequency dependent delays by way of a filter) of each loudspeaker in order to yield the best cardioid pattern over a user defined bandwidth (e.g. 50 Hz to 120 Hz). Can Focus 3 do this?

okay, I see. Unfortunately that's not possible with the current release version. But that would be definitely a useful feature., which we have already on our feature request list for Focus 3.1.
