I'm modeling a basketball/court gym and I need similar material or the coefficients ofmetal building insulation R-13 faced.

Also why is it that the scattering option on the materials is always flat?

Hi Jordan,

The Generic, Fiberglass Insulation, Paperfaced, 3,5 inch thk.mat is probably the closest material in the database. You'll find it in American Base/Manufacturers/Generic. There's obviously a lot of this material in this room, so if you need a high degree of accuracy especially below 500 Hz., I'd suggest looking at Armstrong's website as they may have data for the plastic vapor barrier rather than the paper.

Scattering is as much a function of how a material is used as it is a property of the material. So for now, users need to assign scattering on a project-by-project basis. Easiest way to do this is to pack the project, re-open the project and then edit the local project database.

Thank you for response, Jim. I was wondering, what's Armstrong's web address?
