| I purchased a 6 core AMD, and am curious what is the best setting to use when calculating an AURA respsonse?

| From the Manual:
Number of Calculation Threads
Recommends or sets the number of simultaneous ray-tracing processes used by
AURA. With version 3.0, AURA supports multiple processors and multithreading.
For the shortest calculation time, select the number of threads that is
equivalent to the number of processors in your PC. Select a lower number if the
computer should stay responsive during the calculation or if you wish to work
with other software applications in the meantime |

| FYI, I am running an AMD 2.8 gig six core Phenom with great results. I do Aura's with the 8 core selection and it zips right through them.
Windows 7 is a bit different. Some netwrok features are easier, and some flake out once a month or so. I ended up pasting a shortcut to the EASE path on the desktop. |
