The currently released EASERA version works best with a reduced Windows 7 security configuration. You have to disable the "User Account Control" feature for the logged in account to run EASERA without problems.
This can be done for EASERA only by right-clicking on the EASERA icon on the desktop and selecting Troubleshoot compatibility from the popup menu. This sets the compatibility mode to XP, and causes UAC to be turned off only for EASERA.
With the next release version this problem will be fixed. Then EASERA will also work with the default Win7 security settings. |

Hi Bruce, is there a scheduled data about this release of EASERA? I have been using Virtual PC all the time for running EASERA with Win7 64bit. The problem is in the post processing. The memory allocation is usually not enough and it runs very slow for dealing with a lot of files. Thank you.

Hi Hadi,
We are currently doing testing internally on a solution for this. In the mean time, if you are having trouble licensing EASERA, Renkus-Heinz has posted a PDF file that assists you in installing EASERA on Windows 7, both 32-bit and 64-bit. You can find the page here.
And here is a direct link to the PDF. |
