Hello,

I´m new to Ease and just purchased an Ease Standard Version. I understood the diffrence between Standard and Aura (hope so), but who can explain the "standard with reflections" mapping to me?

When calculating the "standard with reflections" mapping, there two check options: "Bell" and "Top" - What are they doing?

Unfortunately I have to wait for another project to hide the price for the AURA Module in Smile

thank you!

Hi Felix.
When you start a simulation of this kind, a little calculation progress window appears. If you check "top" that window will be always shown, no matter what other window you open, it will be always on top of them. "Bell" will ring a bell sound when the calculation finish.

Regarding you other question about "who can explain the "standard with reflections" mapping to me", that option allows to calculate acoustics parameters by emmiting sound beams in order to obtain a histogram which allows compute several acoustics parameters. The "standard" calculation is only based in statistical methods (equations). But I'm afraid you need a deep learning in this matter... I suggest you to read the EASE tutorial .pdf that came with the software Wink

Thank you Agustin,

Bell - Top Smile ok

I know that "standard" is just calculatet with sabine or eyring formulars, and I understood that "AURA" calculates infinite thin rays of emitted "particles" that are reflected on structures with material absorbsion. I just don´t really know what "standard with reflections" is. It seems to be something between sabine/eyring and AURA, right? In EASE Eyes Mapping you may choos "standard", "standard with relfections" and "Aura".
