Hi

I'm installing EASE on our special computer for rendering job.
I'm wondering is EASE 5FE already implementing GPU acceleration so we can calculate faster? and maybe more accurate?
If not, please add this in next release Smile

Thank you

Hi JM,

Thank you for your comments and suggestions! We are definitely monitoring the development of GPU technology and its applicability to our algorithms.

Currently EASE 5-FE does not support GPU acceleration for acoustic calculations. However, its new DirectX rendering engine takes advantage of additional GPU performance. Also, its 64-bit basis makes viewing and managing projects as well as databases much faster and more comfortable.

In any case, we will continue to implement performance improvements in all parts of the software. Stay tuned for the next updates.

Would love to have GPU accelerated ray tracing for acoustic calculations.
ATM i'm calculating 10.000 rays per speaker(2), order 8, and it takes longer than making a map with AURA with 400+ points.
