| Hello and Happy New Year.
I'm doing an office suite, in which I drawn the floor plan, extruded it, and then started to do the wall partitions. Now that it is separated in various rooms, the acoustical parameters still treat it as a whole room and give me a Rt60 like it was all one cavity instead of many.
What wouyld be the proper way to do it in order to have each room separated and have the parameters of each individual one shown in acoustic parameters?
Thanks! |

| Hello Luis,
EASE can only handle one room at a time.
It is therefore necessary to split the model into individual room files.
There is currently the following workaround for this in EASE 5:
1. save all elements except one room in a Selection Set.
2. delete the Selection Set
3. save the remaining model in a separate file
4. restore the selection set with the undo command Ctrl + Z
5. repeat the process for all other rooms. |
