Hi,

I have been trying to create new material data files in soundflow that replicate manufacturer test data so they can be used in multi layer buildup predictions.

I have noticed that where I have Rayls/m and kg/m2 data from the manufacturer, the soundflow prediction does not match the test data (based on ISO354) at all unless when converting from Rayls/m to Flow resistivity (kPa*s/m2) I divide by 100 instead of 1000;

eg. if Rayls = 2634, I only get a similar result if I set Flow Resistivity to 26.3, not 2.63.

I'm I missing something here?

Hi Sam,

Could you please send your findings, together with the SoundFlow project file and the material data sheet you are using, to support@afmg.eu?

That will allow us to review the setup in detail and investigate further.

Thanks for your help!
