Hi All -

I also posted this on Syn Aud Con sorry about the redundancy.

I am performing a complex community noise study with multiple sound systems, etc..

The noise modelling software requires CLF format to be imported. I am an avid and frequent EASE and Speaker Lab user and would like to create the arrays in Speaker Lab.

Does anyone know how to go from EASE Speaker Lab (.gll) to CLF? Or another creative way to generate the CLF's from the balloon data in Speaker Lab?

Ideally I would like to create multiple array configurations and export them to multiple CLF's to utilize them in the model.

Thoughts?

Dave

Hello,

Yes, you can export balloon data from SpeakerLab. Please proceed as bellow:

1. Create a GLL project (*.xGLL) with SpeakerLab and the speakers you would like to;
2. Run the GLL (File > Run)
3. Calculate the balloon (Calculate > Balloon)
4. And then from the File menu click Export. This will export the balloon data in one of the various file formats available. CLF text file is one of them.

The Export function is only available on the Pro version of SpeakerLab. I believe that's why you haven't seen it ? Wink

Best Regards,

Great method Pedro, thanks. I guess it only works in the far field, but that ought to be OK for community noise studies.

Is there any way of us normal people without SpeakerLab Pro (i.e. not manufacturers) to do this?

Regards
Paul

Hi,

I need to get loudspeaker data for a linearray in clf format. Can anyone with speaker lab pro help me to do the conversion if I provide a xgll file?
