Hello Luis,

To add your own or EASE 4 materials to the EASE 5-FE database just copy the .mat files in the folder C:\Users\Public\Documents\AFMG\EASE\Custom Materials. Upon start of the software, EASE 5-FE will load all materials in this folder and provide them for selection in the Custom Database menu.

Is it possible to create individual folders in it? I have folders to classify my different materials. For example, by manufacturer.

IT looks like no. I added different folders and everything appeared as one list. I hope this is on priority to add. Whenever I open the material database there are a lot of materials in german (for example) that I don't know, understand, or will ever use as I will never encounter those.

In the moment the individual folder name is imported at least as Search Tag, what allows a better filtering.

+1
Would be nice if EASE used the folders in Custom material folder for organization.

I would also like to set the folder myself. locking the path to
C:\Users\Public\Documents\AFMG\EASE\Custom Materials
limits my ability to have a central material library for everyone in the office.
